  1. I don't think they will because if they don't get it the Bills will be 30 yards from FG range with just under 2 mins left. Should've just gone for it apparently.
  2. They won't agree on anything in time for Welker, much less Gordon "Here's a guy who says things." In my best Madden voice
  3. Did you know that in the UK a kebab is what we call a gyro? Crazy Brits!
  4. Looks like HaHa can get in the right position but not tackle. Not sure if that's better or worse than Conte.
  5. I saw somewhere today Olt will be playing 1B when he comes back. That works too, Watkins is more tolerable than Valaika/Lake. They play teams who are interested in winning games most of the rest of the way, so seeing a bunch of both Watkins (mostly) and Szczur is something I'd like to see. Olt at 1B once he comes back and can get in there every day is fine by me too.
  6. He's Cuban. He eats Cuban sandwiches. 2 kinds of meat. Case closed. (Sorry for all the caps).
  7. No salads. They are for slappy singles hitters like Juan Pierre. More sausages and dongers for Javy, Mendy, and Jorge.
  8. how'd you pull that off? and here i was feeling good about getting my usual $15 for 3 months of xm by asking to cancel this morning. I called them last night and after some finagling I managed to get the Sunday ticket for about $9 more a month than I've been paying lately.
  9. Especially since it was about 3 inches below the knee when it crossed the plate. This ump is bad.
  10. Man, neither of the starters are going to get much past about 5 IP tonight.
  11. He also hit Soler with a batted ball the other day. Castillo has some kind of sinister plan. Hey mod, try reading the thread maybe!
  12. See, David? i don't get it Castillo harpooned Colvin with the bat, nearly got Soler the other day, and now he tried to kill Castro. David said he was harmless.
  13. Because he hustled or because he's hurt? Haha Brewers!
  14. He's fine. I was worried he Robin Ventura'd his ankle for a minute.
  15. The importance of framing pitches. The K pitch to Coghlan just now was the same location as that pitch to Braun. Lucroy framed it well and Castillo did not. That had a lot less to do with it than the ump being bad at his job. Lucroy's frame job was pretty obvious.
  16. He should get approval from everybody just because he doesn't seem to do the very obviously stupid things most of us hate managers doing.
  17. Because there's a bunch of interesting stuff to do, especially for kids, and you can do a lot of it without breaking the bank. The zoo, the Arch, Grant's Farm, City Museum, Science Center, Magic House, Botanical Gardens and the brewery tour are all pretty centrally located and not terribly expensive. Just because they aren't things you'd be interested in doesn't mean they're not pretty fun things to do on a family vacation. And quit making me defend St. Louis, it makes me feel dirty.
  18. Why is this game on Fox? Aren't NFC home games against the AFC usually on CBS?
  19. Spoken like true Australian hipster with no kids.
  20. He's a less sweaty version of no PED Joe Borowski.
  21. That was a very good game against a poor defense and in 46 attempts, but it was still just one game. He's also had playoff games where he's missed 60% completion and even 50% completion. He's a game manager who won't do anything particularly well except avoid mistakes (since 2011, prior to that he was a mistake machine). The problem is, you don't have to pay a guy $10+ per year to achieve that. Any way you slice it pretty much, he's now being paid like a top 10 QB and, like you said, he's nothing more than an above average starter and that's with an elite running game (gotta question how long Charles will keep this up). It's not some terrible, crippling contract, but there are better ways to spend that money than to lock up a QB who's really nothing special. Anybody equivalent or better is going to cost as much or more and if you take a guy in the draft, you're pretty much eliminated the win now mode they're in. I don't see any issue making that move whatsoever.
