    Hey now, I just complimented the city this morning in another thread. There are certain things that are awful, specifically the Cradinals fans and the pizza. The Hill is overrated Agreed. There are a ton of places to get great food around the city, but I've been to the Hill probably 3 times and not been terribly impressed. Amighetti's and Adriana's both have great sandwiches though. Beer here is pretty fantastic too.

    It's such terrible pizza, but $5 and no waiting. the pizza sucks but crazy bread is straight from heaven Fact. And damn Soler is strong. I would eat it 100 times out of 100 if forced to choose between it and Imo's.

    I'm currently in Hawai'i and was on a tour of the volcanoes in the Big Island. This girl from St Louis was talking to a young married couple from Toronto about all the awesome reasons to visit St Louis, like a lot of the museums are free and sometimes a good band is in town. The two from Toronto sounded genuinely interested in visiting. I didn't have the heart to warn them. As someone who lives here, there really is a lot of cool stuff to do, especially if it's a family vacation.

    Mendy really gets great breaks on the ball and as fast as he is, there's really not much he can't get to. If he stays in CF, I see no reason he's not rated as a plus defender out there. Arm isn't great but everything else is there.

    Hrabosky wouldn't know professionalism if it smacked him upside his fat head. He's truly terrible, but of course perfect for St. Louis. Listening to other team's announcers really makes me appreciate how good Len and JD are, and even Brenly was much better than most out there.

    It was fun listening to the announcers whine about how that should have been a 3rd strike. Really, really unprofessional, especially Hrabosky.

    Low 90's Yep, that's what the stadium gun was showing too. The silence was deafening most of the day and the stands emptied out after about the 6th inning. The replay call in the first inning I saw from the bleachers in CF. Just the way he slid in vs. how the tag was applied made it look pretty obvious to me. Also, if you didn't see on tv, Soler was on deck when Baker made the last out in the 9th. Great game to go to. Glad it got rained out in May!

    I think everyone just did. You need to move back and help me taunt all these mf'ers. Dude, the Packers/Wisconsin/Brewers fans are a million times worse. No, I lived up there for 4 years, that's not possible.

    There's some truth but pitchers are just fluky in general. You can have an 06(?) Cardinals situation where a bunch of waiver wire retreads pitch like Aces for 2 months and an 84 win team wins the WS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk They got healthy the last week of the season too. It wasn't a complete fluke, although they never should have been in the playoffs to begin with. Turds.
