    Eh, I'm inclined to believe that the awesomeness will return once Marshall and Jeffery are healthy.

    It would appear that I'm going to have my every 4th year or so luck of every other team having their best week against me. Last week, GB defense goes nuts, this week, yep, TY Hilton. Ugh. And the only reason I won in week 1 was because I outscored everyone else in the league by 20+ points.

    Absolutely, but it would never happen. Why not? Too much of an alpha dog for Trestman? Yeah basically. I want Seattle DB coach Kris Richard. But it'll probably be a promotion for Pasqualoni. Trestman strikes me as the kind of guy who wouldn't let meatball crap like that bother him and he'd go out and get the best guy available.

    I figured out how it's going to go. Kershaw is going to throw a no-hitter and the Cardinals will still win 1-0.

    I have a feeling the former is nearly 100% of the reason he was put on the roster of a team that was going to lose a lot and had a bunch of young guys. It really is a shame he's not better at baseball, because he's the perfect guy to have around on a playoff team to keep them from getting too tight like the '07 and '08 teams.

    Ryu v. Lackey not bad Not good either. Ryu was questionable to even pitch because he's been hurt.

    There's nothing spectacular there, but their top 5 were all solid. 3.65 is the highest ERA of any of them and when you only need them to go 6 innings with the back end of the pen they've got, you can win a lot of games.

    That wasn't Jay's fault. That was right where it was supposed to be but there was no call on Holmes getting bumped 10 yards down the field that redirected his route.

    He's actually been really good since he came back up and got regular playing time. He supplanted Tavares in the lineup. And what a shocker to see Molina get all red assed over nothing.

    I'd look at rosters of teams who are 1-3 or 0-4 if they exist and try to deal with them since their season is likely not going anywhere fast anyway. Waiting until week 6 or 7 to take that approach might work better though.

    The Royals winning would be the next best thing to the Cubs winning just for the angst it would cause here. at first i thought you were talking about nsbb, and i was like huh? and then i realized you meant st. louis Yeah, I think the first quote of this thought I meant NSBB too. I want to see the groaning and teeth gnashing if KC wins it. They bitch about the KC inferiority complex toward St. Louis like they don't have the same thing going for Chicago. And then there was this FB post this morning: And they continue to wonder why they have the rep they do.

    I think it has far less to do with available money than it does perceived closeness to being competitive/winning.

    A guy in my league just traded Martellus Bennett for Trent Richardson, so who knows. I thought that was an awful deal for the guy getting Richardson, but he was desperate.
