    got into an argument with Rubio over this. he says no. how could he possibly say no? i mean just look at the zone they showed for alcantara Conveniently, there hasn't been one K zone shown on the Cards broadcast.

    Man the Cards announcers are idiots. No idea how to pronounce Alcantara's name and now talking about yeah, all those hitters but you have to have some pitching too. They've apparently not been watching Hendricks mow down their lineup tonight or noticed the sub 3 ERA for Arrietta.

    Of all their players to bitch about, he's probably last on my list. I kind of like him because they keep trying to replace him and he just keeps playing better than the guys they bring in. He also doesn't seem as douchey as the rest of them.

    Maddux strike zone for Miller, pea sized zone for Hendricks, yet he has pwned the Cards hitters after a jittery first inning that included a few uncalled strikes.

    I'm forced to watch the Cards broadcast and my god these announcers fellating every player on the Cardinals roster is just pathetically infuriating.

    Man, Masterson has been awful since he went to the Cards. As a side note, while he was getting shelled today, Jerome Williams went 8IP with 1ER.

    I just got Ryan in the 10th round, so I think keeping him is unnecessary. Definitely go Alshon and Calvin. I would have for sure voted Stacy an hour ago, but now that Bradford is done, I'm hesitant on that unless they get somebody competent at QB.

    top-50 for pitcher RA9-WAR since hitting the bigs in '12, ahead of guys like Samardzija, Ervin Santana, CJ Wilson i'm a fan With his WHIP and OPS against, he is the anti Jaxon. His FIP has to be like 2 runs higher than his ERA.

    Yeah, I heard on the radio yesterday that the Cards have a -2 run differential and whoever they're playing is like +98 or something and has the same or worse record. Edit: I guess it's Seattle that has the same record with a +100 now and the Cards are -3.

    Arizona and Baltimore are stupid is I think the main thing to take from McCarthy and Arrietta.

    That wasn't even the worst screw job on the Padres last night. There was a swing and miss that would have been strike 3 the previous inning that was rules a foul tip dropped 3rd strike and the Cards scored 2 runs to take the lead with 2 outs later in the inning.

    It's pretty crazy how much movement and control can make up for a lack of velocity. He looks really good. He's definitely a guy who could easily get lit up really bad if he doesn't have his control on a particular night.

    Looked like he bobbled it a little and never got a good grip on it. Hard to tell since they never really gave a good shot of him. But yeah, that was pretty terrible.

    They said earlier in the game that they had like a 44-2 K/BB ratio over the weekend against the Rays. Len and JD mentioned earlier it was 50-2 on the homestand so far.

    Alcantara looks really good in CF. He got a great read and break on that ball by Segura.
