  1. As I recall, Bauer's makeup issues are fairly well documented, as well as much of the reason why he was shipped out of AZ. Well, Towers did a lot of dumb things, so that may not be a real thing. Agree on the make up/have to do things his way stuff though.
  2. That's not the word. I assumed that was on porpoise it was so bad.
  3. I wonder if that's directly related to no more steroids and guys having a tougher time catching up to inside FBs, especially late in the season.
  4. I could give a crap about the pick itself, but the financial flexibility having it affords them in doing what they did last year and using the extra slot money to get additional high upside guys later is the big downside of it for me. I'd just as soon avoid that decision altogether and get Lester and be done with it.
  5. This was my issue. I had the most points scored against in the entire league. Oh, guess what, I also had the highest score in the league this week. Based on ESPN seeding, I was #7 and the commissioner re-seeded based on head to head because 3 of us were 6-7 and I lost out. #6 in total points, #7 seed, and nothing to show for it. I think if I win the losers bracket I at least get my money back though.
  6. Saw that earlier today. Pretty funny in general, but anything to troll Dan Snyder is fine by me.
  7. same exact situation, but ESPN's tiebreaker is H2H so i got left out in favor of a team who scored 250 points fewer because of a 5-point loss in W1 not thrilled about that Same [expletive] happened to me, except I got bumped by 2 teams that I had outscored significantly. And I'm working on 3 out of 4 weeks being the high score in my league. Go Leveon Bell!
  8. You're more screwed in this scenario if one of your top three gets shelled though.
  9. Wow, that's impressive.
  10. Quit shooting 25 footers with no one there to rebound.
  11. Rice needs to remember what a pass is. A little shoot happy right now. Had Hill open on the out of control drive and that 3 was way too quick.
  12. I almost did this too and then had the thought that it's the Bears defense, Bush is out, and he's bound to have at least a half decent day. Glad I did. Also, scored the most points in my league today with Jimmy Graham in my starting lineup and putting up a zero. Without a doubt my worst first round pick ever.
  13. Going back to college seems like an awful lot of work when a pro team will pay him a lot of money, too. Not many coaches go back willingly when they could be drinking on an off day instead of kissing some adolescent's ass. Yeah, but if you have the attitude that he does, you tend to wear out your welcome quickly and you can get away with that when you're recycling an entire set of players every four years. I have a feeling that's why Saban went back.
  14. Joique Bell, Sankey, or Blount.
  15. Why are you so gullible? That's revealing nothing. Give me a name or it's a mindless rumor. you're funny You spelled dumb wrong.
  16. This may be the least surprising post I've ever read.
  17. Well the Rams just got completely screwed on a phantom holding call where they returned the punt to the SD 3 yard line. May well cost them the game.
  18. PSU can't even beat Illinois so we can get rid of the stupid coach. You should feel bad.
  19. So Jameis pushing the ref is inexcusable, but the ref was in the completely wrong place. He's supposed to be standing over the ball, not behind the center.
  20. Nope. Yes! Nope. In an argument like this, completely ignoring facts makes you the biggest douche possible, with no one else on the other side of the argument even in the discussion, regardless of how much of an ahole they may come off as.
  21. Exactly, there's plenty of good things going on, but the failure to execute when necessary to put points on the board is the big issue. That's not nearly the same thing as using wins as a measure of anything.
  22. Well, they only scored 21. If you want to talk overall outcomes, they won the game. Have you gone back to measuring a pitcher's worth by the W column? This is a terrible argument even for you.
  23. You'd think it'd be easy to develop a runs saved per chance stat with all the insane math that the SABR crowd uses.
  24. Lots of discussion about Heyward being a platoon guy with Grichuk on St. Louis sports radio this afternoon. Mozeliak also wouldn't answer a very straightforward question about it when asked. I would bet that if that happens it all but guarantees he doesn't stay here after this season.
