That's actually a surprisingly prudent move that I'd never expect him to make. Dude has a reverse platoon split. Granted, it's only 150 AB vs lefties, but Dusty would run out Mike Remlinger like he was a loogy. I don't follow Dusty and the Reds that much. I do understand that Heisey has not hit lefties that well. But, I thought Dusty has been reluctant to play Heisey the last couple of years. I can see why a fan may already be getting is dander up over starting Ludwig on opening day. Just what I know from history, I would guess that Dusty will give Ludwig at least 100+ more abs than he should get over Heisey.
