In my mind I would think Oklahoma is a more prestigious program than Tennessee. I don't think it is a huge difference. Before Stoops, Oklahoma sure had some down years.

They must've been bad for a long time to build that up. I have always thought that teams like the Cardinals and others don't focus so much on who to pick as much as they focus on how to develop. I am sure there is some great debate about this subject somewhere. -
I think they feel that way today, I do not think they will feel the same way in a couple of years though

I am not convinced that Alabama is going to beat Georgia. So the ND/Alabama talk may be premature. I also think that something that is not being talked about much is how the new 4 team playoff would be really a mess if it was implanted this season. I hope the powers to be take notice.

seems like every week some defensive player makes a stupid hit that does not resemble anything like good form tackling that really hurts his team. See Ole Miss players hit on LSU QB with a minute left.

I agree, but I have a hard time seeing who should be ranked higher. I think maybe FSU and Clemson should, but cannot make any great argument why. They both will have a chance to beat a Top Ten SEC school.

The best non-conference wins for the entire SEC are La Tech and Michigan. The rest of their high rankings have been more earned on winning big games in conference. I am pretty sure they are over-rated, but I also have a hard time seeing who is being ranked too low because so many SEC schools are at the top. The SEC is also getting push in the computers rankings. I think if Florida losses to FSU and South Carolina losses to Clemson then the entire SEC being so powerful argument really unravels.

I am all for coaches being cheerleaders, but I thought it was odd for a head coach to be over the top on a penalty on the other team.

As a MSU fan I would just like to say we have been in a lot of close games. I think players from just about any team who have had a season similar to MSU's would feel very similar to LeVeon Bell. I also do not think MSU has played a team that is significantly better than they are.

I am not even sure why they are ranked ahead of Michigan. I would imagine that Michigan is at least a touchdown favorite in that game.

I have watched KSU a lot the last couple of weeks and they look really good to me. Maybe they have really improved since the ISU game

SEC schools make huge jumps for beating each other while hardly dropping for losing.

I do not usually get into hockey that much until after the new year, so this lockout is really no big deal to me personally. However, I think this whole thing makes the NHL owners look rather stupid.

I think MSU has underperformed and will get better. Not sure why you would think the wheels would come off. You're talking about the same Michigan State MR is, right? Why wouldn't we suspect the wheels to come off? I agree though that they should get better. Offensively they can't get a lot worse unless Bell gets hurt. If you are referring to hot starts and late season collapses, that has not happened since Dantonio has taken over. They also only have 3 regular season losses combined the last 2 seasons. I understand that they have probably not been a Top 10 team, but they have had some consistency.

Why do you think OSU is going to destroy MSU? MSU still has a quality defense and will rush enough to keep their offense on the field some. Truthfully I do not think Notre Dame is better than MSU. They were last week, but if they played 10 times MSU would probably win 5.
