First let me start off by thanking everyone for the kind words that have been expressed. All I can say is what a difference a year makes!! All Sean's hard work and dedication looked so much better and especially the "dropping of the weight". It was almost as if you were looking at a different person and his motion looked so much easier. I spoke with Sean after the game and told him that folks over at "NSBB" were wishing him the best. He's looking forward to doing whatever the team asks of him at this point. I must say that his velocity was great but especially the movement he had on his 2 seamer. It was a proud night at the gallagher household but Sean knows he still has work to do and hopefully he can continue to impress. Movement was nasty. I worry about him being able to contain that though, especially if he gets used only sparingly. I will say that he is EASILY the hardest working prospect I have ever seen in the Cubs system. He was rated low because of his lack of "projectability", but to me he made his own upside. When people said he couldn't add velocity, he went out and threw harder. When people said he didn't have the stamina, he went out and lost weight. You raised a good kid, Mr. Gallagher.
