Meh on Steltz. Good size at safety, but isn't very physical. Well, he'll stick his nose in there, but not a guy that's gonna strike fear in WRs going over the middle. Not very fast. Not a good man-to-man coverer. Be a decent fit in the cover-2 though. Is somewhat of a ball-hawk. Not the most instinctual safety though. If he can put himself in the right position in the cover-2, he's a solid backup safety.

Booty or Johnson, I hope we don't even touch Dixon or Brennan with a 10 foot pole. Dixon, Booty, 10 foot pole? read the first 2 names very fast together.

Adibi is a good pickup for Houston. He could compete for a starting job.

Not very similar at all. Leaf had a quick release. Leftwich could read defenses, was better in the pocket and just about everywhere else except for release time.

i don't like john david booty. besides the fact that he has a slow release and virtually no ability to avoid a rush, his name sounds like he should be in jail or something. i'd take brennan or woodson. Brennan and Woodson are horrible. Don't like either. Brennan is a smaller, lesser talented Rex Grossman. Woodson is a faster, lesser talented version of Byron Leftwich.....the one now, not the one drafted a few years ago before the major surgeries.

Beekman only played, what? 1 game? I liked him in the draft last year. Boston College has a decent reputation for offensive linemen. Definitely willing to give him a shot. Problem is Garza isn't that good either. Gotta bring in 1 more guard, or make a trade, or they better know of a cap casualty coming up in June.

Rucker and Kells Winslow is a nice TE combo.

Harrison works. The Bears have now filled their top 4 needs, IMO. One more lineman a QB and call it a day. I'd love to see the Bears maneuver in the 4th and get another pick for possibly a 4th next year and one or 2 of their 7s. Some good Gs and QBs on the board, they won't be able to get both in the 4th and 5th.

Good pick by Detroit. Fluellen has some talent coming out of FSU. I would have loved him on the Bears, but probably not this early and with the other DTs on the board.

Davis is a solid special teamer though. He's the #2 punt returner if Hester develops a ton in the offense. I think Bennett replaces him on the offense, but not in ST.

yes, and so are a ton of guards...should be a interesting pick i don't like a guard in the 3rd. but they'll probably go guard. I like Oneill Cousins. One of the top players on the board and could play Guard or Tackle. He or Dre Moore are my next pick. I'd go after Booty in the 4th, because I think he'll be there.

Again, if you woulda told me the Bears would have drafted Williams, Forte and Bennett, I would have been happy. Would have been happier if you told me the latter two were the 2 3rd rounders. Thing is, the 2nd round guys I was looking at were DTs and OL that are still on the board.

I do like Bennett a lot. Again, I would have gambled that he would be there with the next pick later this round.
