I gave him the benefit of the doubt before because Marmol hadn't pitched in a week, but then Lou threw him 2 innings. Now, Marmol is unavailable for tomorrow! Brilliant. Better be an influenza breakout in the rest of the pen.

I now want to punch John Paxson in the face. A coach wasn't gonna change the fact that the team has no superstar and isn't smart enough to tear it down and lose enough for a chance to draft one. They are in perfect NBA purgatory. Yep, they secured that spot in '03. Needed better luck in that lottery. Please don't bring that up. Lebron,Melo,Wade,and Bosh :( We were battling with Cleveland for the worst record in the league the first half of that season. Then we went on somewhat of a roll towards the end of the year to push us past LBJ, Carmelo, Wade, and Bosh land. Don't forget that we could've moved up to where the Heat were at. All Paxson had to do was trade Donyell freaking Marshall to the Heat. Yet he couldn't budge on that offer. Just terrible. Is that true?

I'm sorry for that losing stretch guys. I'll take the blame. I wore one of my Cubs jerseys for the first weekend of the season. Then I did the same the 2nd week when I went to the games here in Pitt. Then I wore one the week after because the Cubs were playing the Pirates again. I hadn't worn a Cubs jersey since. Put it on yesterday, ended the 2 lose, 1 win streak. I will now wear a jersey once a week.

Soriano has seen 15 pitches today. He's swung at 11 of them. I'm glad he's getting his BA back up, but his plate discipline still sucks. And it will continue to suck. I don't care as long as he hits the ball.

The bad decision wasn't bunting, it was having Johnson in there in the first place, who is bad vs. RHPs and figured to be completely overwhelmed by Qualls.
