  1. Wow that dude had 2 triples and 3 HRs in 125 ABs, but that was his 1st double.
  2. No reason for Arrieta to be in here with a 4 run lead and 98 pitches to start the inning.
  3. You guys see that Cespedes throw? [expletive]!
  4. I actually like it when they can score runs without home runs. Shows versatility. Of course, a dong now would be ideal. Especially from Soler, who could use 1 (or 12).
  5. Why can't you have better friends? Or at least tell them the Cubs are 11-0 against the Mets and Giants, and have a winning record vs. the Pirates and Nationals.
  6. Ok, 1 keeper. Lose the pick in the round he was drafted in. Emanuel Sanders- lose 4th round pick. I overdrafted him last year because my league was so WR happy early in the draft, and it paid off big time. But I pick 10th this year, and would lose the 39th overall pick, which is right about where he would go. But it looks like there will be at least 5 WRs kept (including Beckham, Landry, Hopkins). PPR league with 100 catch potential, 9th most points last year, and #5 WR. Lamar Miller- lose 8th round pick. Ended up as the 9th highest scoring RB last year, but did it kinda quietly. Only two 100 yard games last year, and 1 of them didn't matter (Week 17), and only 7 TDs in the fantasy season. Only 13.5 carries per game, and Miami drafted a RB this year. Never fully hands him the reins. We started QB, RB, WR, WR, TE, RB/WR last year. But changed to QB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, TE, WR/TE. So, can start up to 4 WRs. Picking 10th, I should be able to get a top 7 WR and RB (coming back around on the snake), so which is better?
  7. Brown, Jeffery and Ryan are easily the best bargains there. #1 WR, plus another top 10 WR (who could go up as the Bears #1), and a top 7-8 QB all for $27? You can't beat that, even if you have to turn around and just pay $66 for Charles in the draft.
  8. I tend to believe that the Bears will keep a lot of the young guys on the team, especially on defensive/special teams. I think people assume because they've heard of guys like Tracy Porter, Sam Acho, Jacquizz Rodgers, Ryan Mundy, Dante Rosario, Marc Mariani, etc. that they're going to be on the team, but none of them have any real guaranteed money coming to them that would make them a necessity on the roster. Granted, not all those guys will be cut, but when it's close, you gotta go with youth IMO.
  9. There's no way he thinks up 1 in the 6th constitutes 'in the bag'. It was probably a combination of keeping Hammel healthy and the opportunity to play matchups in a 1 run game. And getting Richard some work? He's been in the pen for over a week now and hadn't pitched IIRC. Still a strange move. Talk to your pitcher and at least let him feel like he has some say.
  10. Lot of height/length. Goldman and Ratliff and Jenkins are all 6'4". Ego is pretty close to 6'3". Washington is more depth at 6'4". Sutton apparently has been working out at the nose, and is up to 303 about what he was his last season at Arizona St. However, he played his best as a JR in college at about 280-285 as a 3-technique. Read good things about him in camp though. I'd still like 1 veteran brought in on the DL though. Again, they never replaced Ray McDonald, who was a projected starter. And though this group is promising, there is a 35 year old and a bunch of guys who either have no, very little, or bad experience on the line. Yea with the current depth, we'll see a lot of Houston and McPhee playing down I think. I think they feel comfortable with the DL group, because I think there will be a lot of times where there will only be 2 of them playing. The Bears will likely be in nickel 50-55% of the time at least. I don't know that Houston and McPhee will technically play down (hand in ground) but I think they'll play a lot of 2 DL with 4 LBs on the field in nickel. You're still going to have 4 pass rushers (2 DL, 2 OLBs vs. 3 DL, 1 OLB rushing, 1 in coverage). And word is Jared Allen is going to essentially be a DL. If he's in the game, he's going to be rushing the passer. My concern is Ratliff is hurt (as he's been many times the last few years), the only other veteran is bad (like he was in Washington), and the young guys aren't good enough yet. 2 or 3 on the field, if they are injured and underachieving, it's a potential disaster.

  12. Going to serve as a consolation prize to cities that aren't getting a Superbowl. I'd imagine Pittsburgh has a strong shot at the '17 draft.
  13. All his mother, thought it would be cute to take a traditional name and put hers in it. And it's not pronounced Michael. It's sounds like it's spelled. My Cole.
  14. Not in a hurry to get him there. I'd just as soon start him at AA again next year. I don't see him making an impact in 2016, unless he keeps this up for a long period of time.
  15. Cubs rookies in the 4-game sweep vs. SF (Schwarber, Bryant, Soler, Russell) combined stats: 20-53, 5 doubles, 2 HR, 16 RBIs. Bryant: .364/.533/.727, 2B, HR, 4 RBI Russell: .357/.333/.500, 2 2B, 2 RBI Schwarber: .333/.444/.600, 2B, HR, 6 RBI Soler: .462/.533/.538, 2B, 4 RBI #wearegood
  16. Is your brother Carlos Pruitt or your sister Colette Bonds? Very cool, BTW. Congrats! Brother.
  17. FIRST TD OF THE 2015 NFL SEASON BY MY NEPHEW, MYCOLE PRUITT! I'm so ecstatic.
  18. That went far. Didn't even think he got it that well.
  19. Oh snap. 8/8. It's the 27th year anniversary of the lights at Wrigley.
  20. It's been 1 game.
