    Be interesting to see what they do with Javy. Does he do a short rehab at Iowa, or is he basically down there til the season ends? I'm assuming he's up before the first week of August is over.

    Zobrist makes way too much sense. I think the Cubs are more apt to go rental with a hitter, so as to keep spots open for all the young players. But Zobrist could allow the Cubs to bench Castro (moving Russell to SS), bench Russell who's also struggling, provide a platoon for Fowler (though, he's also better vs LHPs). He can/has hit anywhere in the lineup. Play multiple positions. Switch hit. Played for Maddon. Has a 1.004 OPS in high leverage situations this year. Hell, I'd even give him a 2-3 year extension if they traded for him, even at his age.

    I really want Hamels and Zobrist. I'd be willing to trade anyone in the minors, as long as the Cubs were able to keep: 1 of Torres/McKinney Duane Underwood Dylan Cease 1 of Sands/Steele
