  1. Which is why I said it's hard to believe. But it's possible they went in saying he was going to pitch 3 innings and stuck to that despite the low pitch count.
  2. Let's hope this was the plan for Horton tonight? But that would be hard to believe.
  3. The Cubs have often tried to get Imanaga an extra day of rest, so why wouldn't they do the same here? Horton on 6 days rest followed by Imanaga on 5 days rest makes more sense than Imanaga on 4 followed by Horton on 7. I feel like if they planned on Imanaga to go in Game 1, they would have lined up the rotation differently for this week.
  4. The good news is they should have plenty of data to work with, since it happens every year.
  5. Just your average 2 hour major league baseball game.
  6. That's funny because we were at Buffalo Wild Wings when the pregame was on TV and I thought "Why the hell is Ian Happ in the booth"? Granted, my eyes aren't what they used to be.
  7. How does playoff seeding work again? Does the #1 seed always play the winner of the 1/2 Wild Cards regardless of whether that winner has a better record than one of the division winners? If so, we want Milwaukee to keep winning, right? I certainly don't want the Phillies looming if the Cubs are able to get through the Wild Card series.
  8. And if that's the case, I have bigger concerns. Like, why does this guy's groin keep exploding?
  9. Not a great look to bring a guy back from injury and have him immediately reinjure that same body part to the extent that surgery is required. Maybe there was no getting around the fact that it was going to eventually require surgery no matter how long they waited to get him back on the field.
  10. Meanwhile, the Cowboys kicker hits a 64 yard field goal that would have easily been good from 70.
  11. One of Poles' better picks.
  12. On the bright side, I guess left guard is solid, and Braxton Jones has been ok at left tackle? So it's just the right side of the line that is a complete dumpster fire.
  13. John Mangum's son is over at Wrigley. Maybe he can defend someone.
  14. It's ok because they are getting so much production from the draft.
  15. First play of the half, false start.
  16. Clock was stopped in error, then it was determined he was still in bounds. That resulted in a 10 Second runoff from when the clock was stopped.
  17. At least the 7th round running back is out there (doing very little).
  18. I just re-watched it and I'm not sure. There was only a fraction of a second between the receiver completing the catch and going out of bounds, so it would depend on whether he was actually touched during that specific time. If he was touched before completing the catch, that doesn't count. I can't really tell though.
  19. To be fair, the receiver probably should have been ruled out of bounds anyway.
