    At this point the order of tradeable's that I'd want to keep is this (most want to least want): Deng (Most upside, only guy who can actually finish) Hinrich (Won't get much better, but is solid and would be great as the 3rd or 4th option) Duhon (Good value and solid as they come defensively and consistency on offense wise) Chandler (No one is taking that contract but I'd still try) Gordon (A lot of trade value and someone who I don't think can be a consistent #1 option)

    Yeah, especially if it involves tongue action. Hey hey, the Cubs didn't acquire Pudge, Urbina or Ozzie. Hey now, we can't judge. It's a different culture. Not everyone is an uptight American. We musn't judge Raisin. EVER.

    Yeah no joke. Every time we played him it was like the jordan rules. A rotation of three guys would just take turns mauling him.

    Interesting, because I was just reading this thread, and thinking "wow.........PieOnMyHands makes a strong case..... probably even stronger than I could....... I really like the way this guy thinks!". PieOnMyHands...... I've never been accused of being a "troll" here...... I just tend to be somewhat argumentative and resilient in what I believe. For the record, Pie and I are NOT the same poster. Today is the first time I've seen him post. I like how you put that K. "Resilient." That about sums it up, yeah. I don't think K-Town is a troll. He argues stuff he believes, not just arguing for the sake of it. I just figured that since you appeared at roughly the same time he stopped posting as much it would make sense for him to get a new identity. He alienated himself a little bit because he does what you do: Says something disagreeable then turns a thread into an endless back and forth between him and a dozen or so detractors.

    I did. Not because I think he deserves it, but because I wanted to be the only one to vote. Two others beat me to it. I want to know who voted for him in the real HOF polls. They should get their votes taken away. And in case Joe Morgan wasn't one who voted for him, he should get his taken away anyway just to be an example of what happens when you are dumb.

    I have three things to say and three things only (4 if you count the previous statement). 1 - Juan Encarnacion is not very good. It was, in my eyes, a bad signing. As bad of a signing as JJ for the Cubs. 2 - Junior Spivey is not as good as Castillo. His career year was better than what Castillo can do, but I have no reason to believe he'll repeat it ever again. I'd love it if he did. 3 - I am 99.9% sure PieOnMyHands is K-Town.

    Well hes essentially replacing Brett Tomko, so yeah I'd say thats an upgrade. OT - This is a direct quote from a Phoenix sports talk host when the D-Backs signed Estes last spring: "Well Estes won 15 games in Colorado of all places last year, so I don't see why he couldn't win a Cy Youn here in Arizona." Never mind that his era that year was 5.84. Holy hell that was dumb sports town.

    That's a nice round number. Hey o. I honestly don't know what to think about this signing. It's such a lateral move. It honestly seems to me that he is going to be our 5th starter and we'll trade Marquis. Otherwise I don't understand the signing at all. All I know is that if barring injury Anthony Reyes isn't in the opening day rotation, I am stabbing fools.

    Uhhh...No? Last year Carp was coming off the bicep injury, Morris had shoulder surgery, Mulder with the horrific second half and lingering hip questions. Suppan and Marquis were our only healthy returns. Previous year we went in with Suppan who had never done anything, Woody Williams who had massive injuries the previous year, Morris with the bad ankle and shoulder, Carpenter who hadn't pitched in two years, Jason Marquis who had never stuck in the majors yet. Before that Garrett Stephenson, Morris, Williams, and other turds. We're used to rotation questions.
