I don't get why the Cubs would do that. He's pretty much a lock to stay with football right? I could see a team with lots of picks taking their chances on a guy like this, but when you have only two picks in 5 rounds why waste one on a guy that's not going to play baseball? Perhaps he's not a lock to stay with football.
I can give you his email. As long as it's not my work email, I'm good there. :P I record afternoon Cubs games on my DVR all the time, and I have no trouble avoiding spoilers on ESPN, NSBB, etc. With a little planning, you should be fine.
Here's a pretty good description... the Rockets were pretty clutch in '94 and '95. Ha, ha. I was joking about the Rockets being good in the mid-90's. That was over 10 years ago, and the city takes it nickname from it? Its never a good idea to give yourself a nickname. What does that make Chicago, with the Bulls winning 6 titles in 8 years? And Jordan's obsession with playing baseball is the only reason why the Rocket's have those two championships. I thought it was Jordan's obsession with gambling. Wearing your foil hat today?
Can you be more specific? When I sign in using my yahoo id, it tells me I need a team to sign up for the league. See if you can set up your team at http://en.fifaworldcup.fantasysports.yahoo.com/ff and then join the league.
I think he signs the extension with Cleveland. If things don't work out, he can walk at 27. There's few differences between the Cavs' Franchise History and the Nets'. Not to mention LeBron's alleged ties with Jay-Z and the ludicrous endorsement deals that would follow in the area make it a likely occurrance. ABA Championships aside, I don't think it's likely. Possible certainly, but everything I've heard and read suggest LeBron's happy playing for his almost hometown team. We'll have a better idea in five weeks or so.
playoffs, shmlayoffs. I'll take the risk on a multiple Defensive Player of the Year. Risk, shmisk, right? I'm sure he'll be every bit as dominant at 35, 36, 37 - just like Antonio Davis.
Agreed - he'll want at least three years, and his game is based largely on his athleticism. Danger, Will Robinson! I suspect it would take a 5-year deal at close to the maximum for the Bulls to entice him away from the Pistons.
Buyer beware on Big Ben. He'll be 32 at the start of next year and he hasn't played very well these playoffs. I could see his contract turning into an albatross in two, three years.
6-9, 235. Long, athletic small forward. Solid jump shot and handle. Has the raw tools to be a legit prospect. I think a shooter like Ager or Douby would be a better fit for the Cavs.
And Redick  If Redick falls to 16, I could see Paxson taking him because he'd be the best player on the board. But he's not falling to 16; Houston, Orlando or Utah will take him first.
Lots of competition at 1B. I think Thomas should make it, but he's not a lock looking at the statistics the voters like. Playing more than half his career games at DH doesn't help either.
