Right, if the facts were different, your original post would be accurate. If you include Alou's 1.107 OPS in 82 at-bats, is he still better than average?
Are you seriously crowing about a .806 OPS out of RF? Yet another reminder of how much the Cubs' offense sucks. And why are you comparing Jones against qualified right fielders when he doesn't have enough PA's to qualify?
Lots of posts aren't informative and don't really add to the forum. That doesn't make it trolling. Pujols is an amazing talent and I'd want to share him with the world if I were a Cards fan or maybe only not a Cubs fan. I suspect that's all this was.
They do; it's on your mouse. Point taken, but there was no other purpose of this thread then to troll. It could be the point of this thread, I guess, but I'm not getting that vibe.
You don't think age is working against a 26-year-old OF at AA? No doubt Nic's had some rotten luck as far as injuries go, but it is what it is at this point.
Alumni Marquee names include Ichiro, Giambi and Helton. Others include Michael Barrett, Aaron Boone, Adam Kennedy, Mark Kotsay, Bill Mueller, AJ Pierzynski and Randy Winn. So, yes.
Not as wide as you think. Look where the Heat were at three years ago. I was referring to the past two years. Already acknowledged the six pathetic years in between.
It's a rise to mediocity from six years of absolute failure. If they're still hovering around .500 two years from now, I'll be disappointed. But to expect an instant return to the glory days would be foolish.
