    Define depleted. Will they still be so in two weeks? http://www2.kusports.com/news/2006/nov/04/meyer_leads_depleted_offense/?football Sounds like two of those guys may still be out. (knee, lung.) I don't think it'll matter. They've been surprisingly bad this year.

    If the cubs get matsuzaka, is there any chance they still pursue kuroda? Or do they avoid having two guys w/o MLB experience in the rotation + Hill(even though Matsuzaka seems to be projecting to be a pretty safe bet right now.)

    KU wins 41-10 over a depleted ISU team. Rilvarly game next week against KSU.

    KU beating ISU 27-3 at halftime. Assuming we can actually hold a big lead (no guarantees) that means we have to perform the unlikely feat of beating KSU and Mizzou for a chance at the crappiest bowl possible. Of course, if we hadn't blown late leads over Toledo and OU and huge leads over Okie St. and Baylor, that wouldn't be an issue. Instead we have to hope Mizzou's O-coordinater isn't aware that ANYONE can throw on us at anytime.

    i dont see how that could possibly be further away from being enough said. you gotta give him credit, though. When you're going to write "enough said," it's best to spell it as incorrectly as possible.

    Tellem is Nomar's agent. Ah yes, thank you. Well that's different then, Cubs seemed to be on excellent terms with Nomar. Am I incorrect in thinking it probably woudn't matter in the posting system anyway? Even if the agent is on bad realtions w/ a club, he has zero leverage if the player wants to play MLB. He either signs or goes back to japan. And according to 1908, it might be considered disrespectful to cost your team the posting fee.

    I think UL could beat most teams in the country. They would be a very legit title game team, IMO. That offense is good.

    I've been on the floor at Allen Fieldhouse, but I've never been in there during a game. That's something I'd like to experience. Same with UNC and Cameron Indoor. They're all pretty amazing to see in person. Have fun. AFH is a great place to catch a game. Hopefully it will be rocking since it's the season opener. And don't let them give you grief RE your Illini stuff. Send it right back. Are you going to be in the student section or an assigned seat?

    ARod does not want to look like he's giving up in NY, and the Yankees don't want to look like they are willing to give him away. I'd love to see how Hendry would handle this if he were in Cashman's position. Think it would start off with a robust smear campaign?

    Our starting center, Sasha Kaun, blew out a knee, out 3-6 weeks. His backup kickde off the team for academics/personal reasons. As long as Kaun comes back okay, we should be fine. Probably can't beat florida now over Thanksgiving, but at least our Mcd AA freshman PF will get a lot of early playing time.

    Thanks Cuse. We'll be saying the same to you in the next few years. you must be still drunk from celebrating or cruelly sarcastic. Sorry, I can't bring myself to be happy for TLR. In fact, I can't bring myself to be happy for cards fans either, and I have quite a few friends who are cards fans. The most I can do is be happy they're happy, but I can only do that by working very hard to ignore WHY they're happy.

    Winner likely gets the opportunity to get killed by Texas in the Big XII title game? Nebraska had Texas all but beat last week. Mizzou went to Tech and handled them on their homecoming while Texas needed a big comeback to beat them in a rivalry game. On the other hand, Texas did handle OU while Mizzou lost to them at home. Add in the fact that the game is being played in KC, I don't think that either team will get humiliated if they play Texas(who could lose the South if aTm wins their rivalry game). I know Callahan is throwing the ball more, and that's how they beat us, but prior to that game they were really running the ball well. Is Nebraska still doing well on the ground? If so, how does that bode for Mizzou. I know aTm ran it on you guys pretty well.

    I can't envision many current big men outside of Shaq posing a huge issue for wilt, especially if he gets to charge and elbow like shaq.
