I have a lot of concerns RE Girardi's in-game strategy.

I don't see our offense having too many problems with the TT defense, but I'm interested in seeing how our defense will do. We looked subpar last week, and DB Domonique Johnson is out for the year with a torn ACL. It should be a battle. Mizzou is up to #23 in the AP and #25 in the Coaches Poll. After seeing last night's game, if we can iron out our TO problem, I'd say we're just as good as anyone in the Big XII north. I feel confident we'll beat Mizzou again. I don't think that D can stop Cornish. But I may have just caught Mizzou on a sub-par day defensively. I'll check 'em out this weekend, get a better look hopefully. We'll see how my newfound confidence looks after what should be a tough game against T A&M. Is the game in College Station? You probably won't get many answers on Mizzou's run D by watching Saturday's game. Pat Forde said it best, "Leach is well on his way to a seventh winning season in seven tries by throwing first, last and always." Mizzou's matchup with aTm would probably prove more insightful. the aTm game is in Lawrence, so we won't have our road woes to contend with. Our D, while young, is shaping up. As soon as our secondary gets healthy, we'll be in better shape. Da Bears--You're right. The X-Factor is Daniel. I'll be interested to see how he looks if a D can pressure him.

KU loses in OT. We were, IMO, the better team. It was our 2nd string QB, and he fumbled once on the 3 yrd line and threw an INT in the endzone. All told, he accounted for four crucial TOs. It's a shame, too, because he otherwise played well. It didn;t help our TE dropped TWO TD passes on separate drives. Really frustrating loss.

KU doesn't show up (as usual) for a road game. Down 17-0 at the end of 1.

Yeah, I was curious whay the Mizzou people thought. I watched the first half, and I was totally unimpressed by the MU defense. I understand there were some controversial calls in the 2nd half that screwed CU, too? Still, a win's a win. The A&M game could be good. Only 40 minutes till Neb tries to avenge the pasting KU gave them last year. I have to say, I don't like our chances at all.

I'm not saying it's ALL his fault, but... it's pretty sad when you've managed a team to back-2-back losing seasons (including a near 100-loss season), and you can't think of ONE thing you'd do differently.
