  1. I thought that ham was their weapon of choice in a fight. Ham would be an excellent weapon. it would be kind of slippery, though
  2. did a ksu player punch someone tonight? edit: yes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2ZuIXI1VgM let the huggins era begin. Colon's a freshman too, that should mean Huggins brought him in. Wow. colon already punched a fellow teammate in the weight room, according to reports. sounds like a class act. oh, and he's most definitely a huggy recruit.

  4. KU beat Dartmouth 83-32. Why they scheduled the game, I don't know. I know we lost to ORU and all, but I'd like to see some better opponents. And an occasional noncon road game.
  5. i shouldn't laugh, but i did.
  6. haha, paulus is bad. He gets worse everytime i see him.
  7. I also want to add that this is the 3rd Duke game I'm casually watching, and in my viewing I think McRoberts is 0 for 9 from under 3 feet. He's the new Shavlik Randolph. yeah, he's also seriously overrated. UNC is going to just hammer them when they play.
  8. greg paulus is garbage. and if IU can't hang w/ this duke team, then they have a lot of work to do, because this Duke team is not very good. Their #10 ranking is a joke. Any talented, athletic team would own them.
  9. IU already looks tight. Two short-armed jumpshots and a TO. Duke up 6-0.
  10. that vasquez is a player.
  11. gottlieb is one of espn's best commentator's when he's talking about the Big XII, his specialty, but I'm not sure about the rest of his CBB knowledge. That's great Kruger is from KState a Big 12 school maybe Doug should have researched a bit before his annointed Bill Self basketball coach jesus. The guy has always done a nice job of following good coaches and building off of what they have done. Tubby, Lon, and Roy are all good coaches who set up his programs and then he ran with it. He did build ORU from the ashes. And while he did come into talent at UI, he also left them with a ton of talent. Weber did a phenomenal job in '05, but you guys don't go to the championship game if Self hadn't brought in so many of those players. The weirdest thing is that, aside from ORU, Self's biggest "rebuilding" job has probably been at KU. We had a lot of mediocre talent due to Roy's every-other-year recruiting style while he was at Kansas. Simien was very good offensively, Langford was good until his knees went, and Miles could distribute and D up. After that, we were essentially stocked w/ role players, especially after Padgett transferred. Come on now. Simien and Miles were great. Miles a MCDAA. Langford was good. He also had Giddens another burger boy. Also Padgett was a burger boy. In other words more talent than Weber had at Illinois. i will concede ORU to you he did a nice job there. But, still Gottlieb called him a savior of Illinois program and that is just wrong and offensive to a fan of Lon Kruger. Miles was good at what he did, distribute and play d. But roy didn't leave us w/ any players to distribute to. Langford was prolly the most talented until he blew his knees out. By senior year, he just wasn't explosive. Watching him fr/so year was a thiing to behold, though. I forgot about Giddens. He coulda been something, but he didn't have his stuff together. I hope he keeps it up a UNM. I always liked him. And yes, padgett was good, but Padgett wanted to play for Roy, not Bill, and there were rumors about him transferring the second he stepped on campus. The fact is, we had NO depth when Self got here, especially when the post roy transfers happened. That's why we have so many fresh/sophs playing key roles this year. Roy left him little.

  14. A lot of people around here wish we had just promoted Anderson when we let Richardson go. You got a good one. UGH. Please never refer to me as a Missouri Tiger again. I'd prefer you insult my mother, kick me in the schwanz, or or do something else less offensive. (I went to Kansas.)
  15. this game will go far in helping me formulate my opinion of mizzou. Right now, I think they'll get hit pretty hard by Arkansas, who I think is a pretty solid team. But the great thing about Anderson's style is it might keep them in games they'll otherwise have no right to be in. Looking forward to seeing the game. Is it televised?
  16. Certainly was. This is why I like Basketball, the season doesn't end after one loss. So I can even find some level of enjoyment in losses. And to top it off, you can get so much experience from close games, even the losses. Really help you come tourney time. Wow. Typical KU, had it sewn up and then coughed it away. I'm really glad they sacked up and won it in the end. That game really a lot to KU--more than it did to FLA. We've looked so bad this year. They needed the confidence boost, I think. I didn't realize Noah whined so much. And usually w/o good reason. Still, he's a hell of a player. That team is scary. Who's #1 now? My vote goes to UCLA. Oh, and Cubbies75, PM me your address. I want to send a KU t-shirt to our newest fan.
  17. gotta tape the game tonight because I have to work. hopefully, no one gives away what happened.
  18. i had to watch on gamecast. womdered what happened there. we had to keep the ball out of daniel's hadns to win, and we didn't. he just owned us. our dumb penalties didn't help. congrats. Thanks. You guys have a stud there in Cornish. Your QB(s) were unimpressive though, don't know what the deal was there. they're not good? cornish is a stud. too bad he's exhausted eligibility.

  20. wow. heck of a catch by fsu receiver.
  21. that's game. congrats mizzou fans. we just couldn't stop daniel, and we compounded that w/ some huge penalties. better team won.
  22. I remember when this team (Florida St) was so dominate on offense, it's like time passed them by. it's jeff bowden, who resigned. I wonder who they'll get to replace him.
  23. down 13. huge penalties hurting ku. prolly over.
