It is sometimes difficult to distinguish between rumors and proposals vs. actual transactions in some of the threads in this forum. Accordingly, this thread is to be used to summarize actual moves (not rumors or suggestions). To keep this thread from growing too long I request that this thread only be used for factual posts specifying the trade or free agent signing, and that any discussion relating to such moves be done in a separate thread. That way people have one thread they can open to see at a glance what moves have been made, without having to read through a lot of discussion if they just want to know the facts.

For starters, here's the deals that have gone down so far.

Billy Wagner to the Mets: 4/43

Bob Howry to the Cubs: 3/10

Scott Eyre to the Cubs 4/12

B.J. Ryan to the Blue Jays 5/50

Kornerko back to the Sox 5/60

Ryan signed for 5/47

Howry signed for 3/12

.. and I'm pretty sure the Eyre terms you listed are wrong as well.

Eyre is 2/7.5 with an option to make it 3/11. The numbers aren't exact but that's the general gist of it.

That's what I was talking about in my previous post. Thanks bc2k

You had a good suggestion, so I acquiesced.

SportsCenter has reported a 3/18 to Flash Gordon from the Phils.

Either Hendry looks like a genius or he's made this happen, but either way we suddenly don't look like we're overpaying for Eyre and Howry.

In the spirit of the original post, please let's use this thread only for actual transaction summaries and/or links to relevant articles.

Commentaries on those transactions or speculation regarding possible moves should be posted under a different thread.

What he said. I started this thread to provide a summary of actual moves in one place that people can refer to without having to read through a lot of discussion to get to the actual moves.

Bennett Signs with the Cards.

Cardinals signed catcher Gary Bennett, who had been with the Nationals, to a one-year contract.

Even though it didn't work out last time, the Cardinals are again stealing the Nationals' backup catcher. Bennett is a better defender than Einar Diaz. Both are among the worst hitters in baseball, but at least Bennett knows it and is therefore willing to take a walk when he gets the chance. He hit .221/.298/.271 in 199 AB last season.
