Also Knicks vs Lakers is on ESPN just for those that want to see Curry pull his normal 4 rebounds. I hate both these teams but Im rooting for the Lakers tonight as I want the Knicks to lose as much as possible so the Bulls can get that lottery pick from them.

WOW Bulls in foul trouble big time in the first quarter. Chandler, Sweetney, Gordon, and Hinrich all with 2 fouls. Portland is 13-15 from the line 5-15 from the floor. Bulls leading 27-25 with 45 sec in the 1st.

Bulls are up 89-88 with 2 30 to play. Sweetney has had a hell of a game with a double double, 24 points and 11 boards I think. If he could stay out of foul trouble and lose just a lil bit more weight he is a stud in there. His offense is awesome.

tied at 91 with 73 seconds left....... why must they do this to us?

down 1 with 23.2 left and the ball. Who do you let shoot it?

Da Capt. puts the bulls up by 1 but there is still 15 secs. left.

and Portland retakes the lead Bulls got 8.7 to win it.

Bulls get screwed with the refs saying the ball went out on Sweets and it went off on Ratliff. Bulls lose 96-93 damn is this circus trip a killer every year. :(

Absolute garbage call calling it out in favor of the home team. We better get all kinds of make up calls for that bullcrap.

The refs ruin a great performance by Sweets.

It's really time for Skiles to stop being stubborn and stop putting all the firepower on the bench to start the game. The Bulls seem to be a team that starts slow, maybe it's because they have 4 non-factors on offense starting the game (not a bad start last night, and Noc did have 18, but still). Any other coach in the league would have Deng and Sweetney at the F positions to start.

I'd like to see Sweetney drop about 10 pounds or so, so we can have him on the floor for 35-40 minutes a night and not worry about him becoming gassed in the fourth.

Agreed but Sweetney also needs to learn to quit fouling so often as well. If he can stay on the court for 30-40 mins a game the guy will average 20 and 10. His offensive game is awesome and he has a knack of finding the rebounds.

Agreed - if he could stay on the floor longer he'd be a nice replacement for the size we lost with Curry and Davis gone.

Bulls visit the Key Arena (or whatever it's called these days) for a 10:30 ET battle with the Sonics tonight. With Kobe, the champs, and T-Mac as our next three games after this one, this is close to a must-win.

Projected starters for the Bulls:

Duhon

Hinrich

Nocioni

Sweetney

Chandler

For the Sonics:

Luke Ridnour

Ray Allen

Rashard Lewis

Nick Collison

Johan Petro

Edited to show Sweetney starting over Darius :)

Bulls suck...

Really bad.

Season all but over. We're as good as 3-8 playing the Lakers, Spurs and Rockets next three games.

How did they start last year again?

I'm not willing to bet on another 47-26 finish, especially not with Chandler regressing terribly. But let's hope that I'm wrong and starting Sweets will infuse some energy into the team.

I'm not willing to bet on any type of finish in November. Just think it's incredibly premature to declare the season all but over.
