On a scale of 1-10, how concerned are you about actually losing this game today? Because you shouldn't be. I have a feeling it wil be ugly. Nay, FUGLY.

Va Tech did it's part in the "Screw the BCS by having 7 undefeated teams" crusade.

 

Unfortunately, all 7 won't make it. USC plays UCLA, and Georgia will probably play Alabama in the SEC title game (if they both win out).

 

What is up with 'Bama playing Utah St. this week? Random non-conference, borderline Division II school in late October? LSU too?

 

Looks more and more like next week's PSU vs. Wisconsin game will be the Big 10 title game. That's assuming that Northwestern doesn't win out, as they hold the tiebreaker over Wisconsin (but not PSU).

That is good, but pointless. Weis said many, many times he was not going to leave ND till his kid was done with college, and the story broke from a UM grad who works for NFL.com. He admitted this week he made it up, and there was no substance behind it.

 

Anyone know what is going on with Miami's uniforms? I can't even tell what is on the helmet.

It's supposed to be some kind of hurricane signal flag deal. Personally I don't get the sudden trend of college throwbacks, most of them look dumb anyway.

I don't usually get into the Big Ten, but Tim Brasic is playing pretty well for Illinois against Wisconsin, and the Badgers lead only 13-10 in the 2nd quarter.

The lowest point total Mizzou had all year was 20 against Texas. They have 3 against Kansas, and are on defense with under half a quarter to play.

This was supposed to be the KU team we'd see all year. Unfortunately, at looks like it'll make only one cameo appearance this season. At least it was against Mizzou.

 

I'm pretty shocked, to be honest. Mizzou has the better team. For some reason, KU has B. Smith's (and Pinkel's?) number.
