Ok, if the Astros screw this one up, things are getting thrown.

Now would be a wonderful time for the Ensberglar to stop struggling.

Well, he sac fly. I guess he did help out, in a way. *shrug*

Things the idiot sox radio announcers said on my way home in the 6th: that ball konerko couldn't catch in the stands should have been fan interference. That ball that hit the guy in the pickle (they said everett) should have been interference (and everett should have been called out)

This is almost comical. This team sucks with RISP.

I thought Hawk and DJ aren't doing the playoffs. *sarcasm*

Only Pierzynski would try to get a strike called on a pitch that nearly clocked the opposing batter in the head. What a piece of trash.

...and boom goes the dynamite. I'm switching to ESPN. Utterly amazing that the White Sox got matched up against the perfect team to destroy in the Series. The last of what was about 2 million breaks this season.

Oh come on, the Sox are a flat out good team!

I never denied that, but they are a flat out good team that caught more breaks than any team I have ever seen in baseball or any other sport for that matter.

Not really, I'm only 18 after all, so I haven't seen that much. The Sox just happen to be the luckiest team I've yet seen in my life as a sports fan.

I think it is just your hatred for them makes it seem like that. They have played good ball the whole playoffs and defintley deserve to win it all this year.

I'm not the only one. Haven't you noticed that every lead to every discussion of the White Sox on any ESPN show seems to include the amount of breaks they have caught this year?

I will admit this much: the field seemed rather weak this year. I didn't see the true powerhouse teams that usually make the playoffs.

The Yanks & BoSox were mere shadows of their former selves. The Angels were good, but not great and they had Colon injured. The Cards were injured and choke-happy.

The Braves were the Braves. Choke-o-matic.

The Padres were the weakest team to ever make the playoffs I've ever seen.

So the Sox pretty much had it easy. That said though, I'm convinced the White Sox were the best of the playoff teams this year. Even though in many other seasons they probably would have been beat, this year they seemed to be the best overall club.

Congrats to them.
