The only chance the Stros have on Jenks' FB is to take take take.

 

Unless it's Vizcaino. :oops: Good piece of hitting, ballsy base running. I would have held the guy at third, that was a pathetic throw by Scotty Poddy but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since the ball was wet.

Bagwell singled to center field

Lane struck out swinging

Burke walked, Bagwell to second

Ausmus grounded out to first, unassisted, Bagwell to third, Burke to second

Vizcaino, pinch hitting for A Everett, singled to left field, Bagwell & Burke scored, Vizcaino taking second on the throw

Cotts in to pitch for the white sox

Lamb, pinch hitting for Bruntlett, flied out to left field

they held the tying run last night raisin and never got him across. probably a good call with the wet outfield.

 

Didn't see the game last night, but on hindsight - with Scotty Poddy's arm and the wet conditions, it was a risky but good gamble.

yea, should have remembered they "took down" everett.

 

raisin, berkman singled to left in the 8th last night with tavares on 2nd and no outs - tavares held at third and the sox bullpen struck out the side.

Are you kidding me? A walkoff by Podsednik off of Lidge? The White Sox are destined.

 

Yeah, it's starting to look that way. They have the Midas touch.

Anyone else think all the innings the past two years are starting to catch up with Lidge a little bit?
