This week I've got a battle for the number 2 running back spot that I need some input from. Resident Cowboy fans be objective.

Cadillac or Julius Jones?

Bucs are playing that Miami defense; Jones is playing the Giants. Who would you play?

Or if you want to be super controversial there is an option of sitting Shaun Alexander and playing the aforementioned two backs although I won't do that no matter what you say.

*edit* and in my other league who plays out of Jamal Lewis, Steven Jackson, and Cadillac? Jamal plays the browns (his record setting opponent) and Action Jackson plays the Colts. Lewis has blown but maybe this is the week?

Julius Jones.

You might be better posing this question, however, closer to game day when people will have a better idea of Caddy's status.

Sit Jamal Lewis. He stinks these days. I believe I heard the interim coach in St. Louis is gonna have a completely different game plan than Mike Martz (who could blame him?). I think Jackson gets 20-25 touches total, and puts up almost 100 and a score.

I actually like the Rams to win this game. They always win games they shouldn't and lose games they should win.

EDIT: Wait on the latter to see on Caddy's status. The first one should be Julius regardless, imo.

Jones is questionable this week. Has not practiced yet. I have him on both my teams and think I am going to sit him. Of course if he gets the OK for full duty, he is back in.

This is per ESPN Insider

Head coach Bill Parcells said he is "kind of hoping" Jones will play. That doesn't sound like the strongest endorsement from his head coach. Tyson Thompson or Anthony Thomas will start in his place if he is unable to go this weekend.

Daunte Culpepper (vs. The Bears)

or

Eli Manning

??

ELI. I have stuck with Culpepper all year, and I finally gave up. I am giving Collins the nod.

Manning. He HAS to have a good game to justify the confidence I showed him by trading Brett Favre. :D

Help me out. I need one QB. Who do you start, Hasselback, Eli, or Bledsoe?

Also choose three RB's from this group: Dillion, Holmes, Barber, and Bettis.

And two receivers from Horn, Coles, and Branch.

QB-- I'd start Manning (admittedly I'm biased because he's on my team). RB--I'd bench Bettis (I don't know how many carries he'll get since Parker is the starter now). WR--I'd probably bench Horn until he shows he's recovered from his hamstring injury (he's listed as questionable).

Who are your QBs playing? I would start Bledsoe or Eli (Hasselbeck doesn't get TD with Alexander there). I would play Dillon, Holmes, and Bettis. Parker is not gonna get that many carries now that the bus is back. And Bettis is gonna get all the TDs close for Pitt. Bench Coles. Jets suck.

That's what's interesting. Bledsoe is playing against the Giants and Manning of course is playing against the Cowboys. The Giants have one of the worst pass defenses in the league, so that bodes well for Bledsoe. There numbers over the season have been very similar.

Start Bledsoe. The Giants have lost their #1 CB for the season also.

Bettis. Play Bettis. Jacksonville is among the worst in run defense, and Pitt is among the top in run attempts per game. Plus Bettis always gets it in the RZ. I am going with Bettis and Holmes on my team. Sitting Parker and Jones.

Boy was I wrong. Bettis has 0 points for me this week. However stick with Bettis this week. Always does great against Cinn. and Parker is slowly losing his starting job. Bettis could have huge day.

In my infinite genius I forgot to put Steve Smith back in the starting lineup for this week after the bye last week and he broke a bunch of Panther records today in torching the Vikings. Go figure. My team was beyond screwed anyway though, I think I might have single digit points in my Roto league this week.
