How do I / or should I change my user name?

I go by ManEatingTarp on the Cards forum and in the Cards/NSBB fantasy league. Should I change my name to match here? Would it throw people off? Would they forget I'm a Cards fan? Would they forget I live in Chicago? Would they even know about the Man-Eating Tarp of 1985? So many questions...

Please help me decide.

I don't know how to change your name, but I think you can just PM Tim or a moderator to get that done.

 

Perhaps you change to man eating tarp, then include Chicago for your location to remind people where you live, and in your signature provide a link explaining the tarp while pointing out you're a Cards fan. See, not that hard.

To change your name, just pm Tim, 1908, or modzilla if you dare.

 

Whether or not to change is entirely up to you. If you do change, I'd put a statement in your sig as to your previous idenity for awhile.

 

While it isn't necessary, having the same user name could allow posters from both forums recognize you if that's something you desire to occur.

I think all "visiting" fans should have their team of preference in their signature or name or location, because when pronouns are used in a post sometimes I am not sure who they are talking about.

Now that's the real question. I wondered the same, but I think I'd rather keep my distance and not know. It's interesting to see Modzilla online and wonder if it's a Troll Slaying or if Modzilla is just hanging around to scare people.
