If the Horn is cut, I think there is a good chance that Billy Beane may bring him back into the fold.

The Horny wagon will cont. to march on. It is now adapt to cold climates.

Someone might want to take a flier on him again as he will get on at a .360-.370 rate and hit 20 hrs in an even numbered year.

If Toronto wants to get someone someone to overpay for Hudson, I'm sure bellhorn would be an adequate low-budget 2B for Riccardi so they can address other areas (pitching).

Wouldn't Hill fill in at 2B? I don't know if he'll hit enough for 3B.

They played the highlight clips yesterday of Bellhorn's 2 switch-hit HRs in an inning in Milwaukee ... ahh, the memories!

I just glanced at that and thought you wrote FOR Milwaukee.

I'm still rooting as the Horny Wagon treks on!

It wasn't hard to root for Horny on the Red Sox, but it will be impossible to do so with the Yankees.

I agree.

It might become tough to cheer on Bellhorn, especially against the Red Sox (7 more games down the stretch). I think Cashman made an astute move by acquiring Bellhorn (not just because I'm a Bellhorn fan) and the numbers bear it out. Here are his numbers away from Fenway this season in 180 PA and the rank amongst AL 2nd Basemen:

OBP - .398/1

OPS - .809/3

Cano hit .192 with a .462 OPS in August and seemingly is seeing one pitch per AB. If he's all the way back, I think Bellhorn will find his way into the lineup.

Bellhorn is batting eighth and playing 3rd base tonight for the Yankees with A-Rod at DH.

the lesson here is to teach your little leaguers to switch hit and to be left handed pitchers, they will last forever in either league no matter how mediocre.

Veteran ESPNers will remember that Bellhorn can't hit when he plays 3B, only 2B
