The Card's are very good and such but, how is it Minor League re-treads like John Rodriguez hit .295 for them? Everything they touch turns to Gold, its amazing.

 

Bo Hart comes to mind as well as Nunez. Wasnt Nunez a Pirates bench warmer?

 

 

Nunez classic example, Pirates bench warmer, lifetime .249 hitter, never came within .38 points of .300 yet, hitting .315.

He is getting better and better in the field, it seems. I sure would like to see him do a good amount of lower body work in the offseason, though - maybe some Pilates. Each season that groin comes up a bit gimpy.
