Why am I getting that same feeling I had last year when we went up on them by like 8 in hte first inning and then went on to loose the game?

if loosing is anything like losing, that must have sucked!

Imagine if Dusty benched Walker for more than this game. Todd would just explode on him. It would probably be the greatest moment of my life.

I'm not watching the game, but what is their body language like? Is it any different than it has been for the last week and a half?

I'd hate for a team with this record to be able to think they can turn it on and off depending on the quality of the oppostion.

Nice K by Maddux.

I posted the same thing on the Cards board, UK. I would be angry if I was a Cubs fan and they can get up against the Cards and tank it against the Reds, Mets, D-backs, etc.

All right. Maddux goes nicely up the ladder on Pujols for an inning-ending K. Where's the :whew: emoticon? Edited by KatJ

I have been a Greg Maddux fan for a long time. And there is no doubt that he is given a different strike zone than most pitchers. Was strike two really a strike? Santo even stated that could have gone either way. Which means it was a ball. Just wanted to get your opinion.

Maddog should have gone crazy like Z did when he struck out Barry. If we are going to miss out the playoffs, make is entertaining.

Looking at Gameday, all were strikes. But I think strike two was a little more inside than the others.
