Why not at least squeeze with Maddux AB? If the guy is out at home, at least you have a RISP and can score on a hit. I don't understand sacrificing a guy from 1st to 2nd with 1 out and a man on 3rd.

Personally, I like the fact that we have Williamson in our pen. He is good. So we shoud resign Dempster as well. There's our two best RP. If we can get Giles for a 3 year deal that would be huge for us. I could care less if we resign Nomar or not at this point. I rather see Cedeno. Stick Murton or another OF not named Macias, or Holla at the other corner spot. Let's hope Corey can come back and bat at least 275.

Pessimism is fine, just have a reason for it. Calling Lawton worthless based on his first 4-5 games as a Cub is most certainly not a good reason.
