I am talking about his defense. I am not asking you to change any opinion after one game. No one said Neifi lights the world on fire offenseivly. But, look around the league. He is in the middle of the pack. No way is his defense average. Here again is Ronnie strength is defense. I agree he looks good on defense but Neifi has been a gold glover and still looks to be.

 

So you're saying offensively he's been in the middle of the pack in terms of NL shortstops?

 

Currenly, among 13 qualified SS in the NL, Neifi is 11th in OPS, 12th in OBP, and 10th in AVG.

I wish he were coming too, but it doesn't look good. He seemed to be completely down to Iowa and Wisconsin, but then his family from the east coast really started messing things up. His high school coach has really been steering him towards Wisconsin from all reports, but his family wants him to go out east (Syracuse has been rumored.)

 

Dahlman is starting to look optimistic though.

Alot of the Iowa faithful tried to pretend that they didn't care that you lost Bohannon to us, but his stock has just shot up this summer. He's gonna be a baller, and Alford has been subpar in recruiting, especially losing a guy of Jason's caliber to an in-conference rival.
