If Neifi gets hurt in the middle of the game, Macias or Hairston can play there temporarily, then you can call back Cedeno the following day. Or, you could just callup a couple guys whose future is probably no better than major league utility man, Theriot or Ransom.

 

They sent Cedeno down earlier in the season because they said it wasn't good for him or the organization to have him rotting on the bench. Why is it alright now?

It is what it is, so get use to it. BTW, I would also rather see Cedeno in there everyday, but you don't here me b&c about it everyday.

I like moving Barrett up in the lineup out of the 8 spot.

 

I think Murton will be patient and have the same approach wherever he hits in the lineup, so he's alright hitting 8th. Barrett hacks at the first pitch remotely close when he's down there.

Add Nate Frese to the 40-man and make him the backup to Neifi. Return Ronny to AAA and let him play everyday.

Hopefully, especially considering he was held out of a game this past series because of his hip and shoulder. Dusty hasn't batted him in the middle of the order when he's been banged up.
