and prior gets a hit thank you chris speier.

It's no guarantee he gets a hit. Its good, aggressive baseball with two outs and the pitcher's spot up. It took a perfect throw to get the out.

It's aggressive, I wouldn't call it good. While it may have taken a perfect throw to get the out, on the flipside, it would have taken a bad throw to get the run. And turning over the lineup is pretty much all you can hope for from Blanco. I don't think, you can judge the play good or bad either way. They took a chance and it backfired.

:ohnoes:

Holy crap! I could totally see the Cubs acquiring Grissom. I am going to rely on Hendry's, "No rentals," comment to subside my fears.

after the Giles incident i get scared seeing prior standing on 1st.

Lets hope someone hits a HR so he doesn't have to run through people again.

Feel free to use this power again.

And often.

Goony, I see your point, but, if it took a perfect throw to get the out, two actually, then it wouldn't require a bad throw to score the run. It was just require a throw that wasn't perfect. Not perfect doesn't equal bad.

Can't get greedy with my powers. Otherwise the baseball gods will take them away. They must only be used for good (beating Pittsburgh).

This is the major leagues though. Perfect throws are the norm. Not perfect is bad.

I hate this ump!!!!!!!!

No consistency, and it sure seems that Redman is getting more of the outside corner than Prior

I just don't get it--they always talk about respect in baseball, then we can't Prior to get a few calls over Redman!!!!!!!

What's with all the #9 talk?

Blanco changed his number from 9 to 24. So it's painfully obvious to anyone that knows anything that a trade for another 9 is in the works.

Duh.

Or Todd Hundley is coming back. :o
