I almost hope we lose a lot just so Dusty will get fired.

me 2 unfortunately

I doubt a loss today would do anything. Bruce Miles seemed pretty sure that the organization had no plans on firing baker anytime in the forseeable future.

I dont think Jim will have much of a choice if we end up the year 5-15 games under 500.

I agree with you there. But I'd rather see us do something this year, rather then lose just to fulfill my vendetta against baker.

At least Baker is keeping our 1-2 hitters the same. The higher OBP has only produced, oh 16 runs over 2 games.

Good to see he remembered how the team won 7 straight earlier in the year. Lineup consistency!

Exactly. As much as I hate neifi playing. And I dislike that Murton is sitting, I'm really happy with the fact he is keeping the top of hte lineup the same.

Beggers can't be choosers, but it seems like every Cubs game that I'm able to watch, Maddux is pitching.

Well.... you did see Mitre's shutout of these Marlins last month, no?

Heh, yeah, but then saw Maddux the next day. I saw Zambrano earlier in the year in St. Louis, but most of the Cubs games I see on TV, Maddux is pitching.

It's all about perspective, Mizzou. Think of it this way.... you never had to watch Bob Buhl, Cal Koonce, or Ernie Broglio pitch, eh?

Oh I'm not complaining. Wait, yeah I guess I kind of am. I don't mind seeing Maddux pitch, it's not too often that a player like him is around, but I'd just like to catch a Prior start or a Wood start here and there.

Hey guys I don't have much time here, but need some help. Do you have the address to e-mail Len and Bob in the booth during WGN games?

It's my girlfriend's birthday today (she's a big Cubs fan too) and I thought I would take a shot at it and see if they would mention it on air.

Thanks.

I suppose Hairston at least had an excuse of not seeing two walks in front of him before coming to the plate. Not so much for Burnitz.
