Roscoe, I tell you what. Ever since the Cubs started playing bad, I've drank one of these gallon jugs o' moon shine every day. I think it makes me look sexy. I think Dusty needs a jug. . . . .

Buh-wheat T say moonshine and cub's baseball is oh-tay!

Bhogg says Prior will only go 7 innings today. He'll give up 2 runs, both earned, strike out 8, and hit a homerun.

Hairston will get the start at 2b and A Ram will lead the 8-2 onslaught with 4 RBI and a homer.

You can take this to the bank:

THE CUBS ARE SWEEPING THIS DOUBLE HEADER.

IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/img]

If it's a 12:00 game I wouldn't be to optimistic. I live in Atlanta and the weather has been horrible. Tornadoes destroyed buildings, trees are blocking roads, powers out, and it’s flooded every where not to mention the atl sewer system backs up every time it rains. I don’t think the rains going to clear out till late afternoon tomorrow.

It may wind up being changed into a straight twi-night doubleheader then.

Before tomorrow's first game, Brian Jordan will be placed on the DL and Jeff Francouer will be called up. He won't start against the Cubs, though.

Also, Josh Beckett will miss his start against the Cubs this weekend because of a strained left oblique muscle.

Typical Beckett, getting hurt again his very first game back from his previous injury.

Apparently game 1 will be on ESPN.

30% chance of showers at the start of game 1.

Where did you see that? Hope so

Cubbie from TX in AR

edit: says ESPN will be broadcasting on the Cubs site, but not on ESPN's site

The Cubs game's probably not the national feed since they weren't originally scheduled to play at noon today.

Why in the world is Neifi batting in the two spot? While this lineup is better than what he intended on trotting out there last night it is still non-sensical.

Hairston

Walker

Ramirez

Burnitz

Dubois

Cedeno

Perez

Blanco

That is a pretty ugly looking lineup. Or do you maybe bat Cedeno second.
