Bagent thinks he’s Brett Favre.

On that interception, the WR was open, but noodle arm has no zip so the defender had time to recover and pick it. Caleb makes that same throw and it's a completion.

So after giving up 37 against the Panthers in week 1, the Bears have given up just 1 TD in the next 10 quarters of the season, and that was 0.1 seconds from not counting.

Im posting this early so apologies if the Bears turn it over and they score before halftime lol

Yeah, He can’t make those throws. That’s also why Caleb doesn’t throw picks in addition to his quick release and footwork.

Also why some balls are dropped, he throws hard 😅

Positives, Bagent threw for 170 yards in the first half. Negatives, he threw a pick, got bailed out on a 2nd pick and had a defender drop a potential 3rd pick.

Bagent looks effective but his limitations are clearly there too.  If the meatballs were questioning the importance of Caleb after last week this should get some on board with the idea that we need him back.

The radio team keeps saying Wright looks hurt. Unfortunately I’m radio only today but that would suck if he can’t go.

Bagent will be in the league for a while because he’s a quick learner who can grasp an offense. As a backup. Chase Daniel, Josh Johnson, Case Keenum etc all possess that. Meatballs think shredding a fourth string defense in the third preseason game translates to success against NFL starters.
