Typical James Franklin complete let down vs. a top 10 opponent. Penn State barely has 100 yards of offense in 3 quarters of football

How does Penn St not have any downfield weapons? Their offense is almost as bad as Michigan's last year

As soon asI post this they go on a 5 play TD drive:)

No one is getting open and Drew Allar is actively regressing as a QB before our eyes. He's doing his best 2024 Caleb Williams impersonation by holding the ball too long

Nice comeback, but Allar chokes on the chicken bone again

Thought PSU played really well in coming back, they looked dead in the mud after Oregon went up 17-3.  Looked as Allar may have had it up sidelines just an inexplicably bad pass.

Stellar showing by the piggies in Fayetteville.

ND offense looks like they're really good but also it sure looked like Arkansas straight up quit before the first half was even over. Not boding well for Sam Pittman's employment prospects.

We're not making the playoff but I'm gonna enjoy the hell out of watching CJ Carr the rest of the season

3 Top 5 teams lost today. I think its going to end up being a wild year. Of course USC losing hurts them. But I think ND still has a good shot at the playoffs

For 3 quarters it really felt like every other time PSU have played a good OSU or Michigan team recently.  They still lost of course but the game had a different feel about it at the end.

PSU is probably still fine if they beat IU (or, perish the thought, @ Ohio State). The rest of their schedule is dog water so they'll beat them all. But can they split those two? Not sure.

Just saw the replay and holy horsefeathers did the officials completely miss on Feagin' "fumble".  Not even close to being a fumble, he's clearly down with the ball.  Typical ball carrier down with the ball gets it ripped out after the play and defense acts like it's fumble.  Guess it sometimes works with a dumb ass crew.

Defensively, they'll stuff IU, Mendoza will crumble under PSU' pass rush.  Question is will PSU be able to do more than run the ball?

They simply couldn't get off the field on defense for most of the game. Oregon was constantly in 3rd and 2 situations and PSU was always in 3rd and 8. Oregon was 5 of 7 on 4th down. Very frustrating.

At the end of the day, Oregon is just a damn good football team. They are 33-3 in their last 36 games.

But because the Big Ten now has 48 teams, Oregon and Ohio State don't play (unless/until the B1G title game)
