no excuses- this team is beyond slumping; they’re doing what they did the last two seasons. The division is an afterthought, and making playoffs is slowly becoming more and more distant as well. They will most likely not get in playoffs based on the teams recent history with same players. Bad hitting down the stretch every year, Boneheaded Defense on supposedly great D players (Dansby)! Every year his D and boneheaded plays costs them games down the stretch. He’s doing it again this year and please don’t bring up his weak base hits today

Honestly, they are a good story.  Part of me is rooting for them to just keep winning and bury the Cubs (even more than they are already buried).  I can't say the Cubs don't deserve it.
