Sorry for the late reply.

Isn't Busch a GG caliber 1B? I know he is not PCA defensively but he is pretty damn defensively himself.

He much better then Turner there but not GG yet.

I’m not sure running into outs on the bases is the best strategy when facing a pitcher like Crochet.

Wind is blowing in and we probably aren’t going to string too many hits together so move those runners over. I’m with it.

I don’t know much about net bases prevented, but maybe running is the best strategy?

Did not love Happ stealing there.  Now you have to lead off the next inning with Shaw.

Well he showed me.

It'll hit me like the deaths of Payton and Harry did. They were bigger than life when I was a kid.

Just turned it on. What did I miss?

Jed is on the broadcast and started by taking a moment to send a message to Ryno, praise him for all he’s meant for the Cubs, used a lot of past tense and ended it by saying something like “thank you for all you did for the Cubs organization”

This comes after Ryno’s statement last week about cherishing time with his family and friends and Lester and Wood both wearing Ryno jerseys this weekend.

Jed is in the booth and gave a heartfelt tribute to Ryno for all he has meant to the Cubs organization. Lester and Wood both wore #23 jerseys this weekend as well.

Much worse than Harry for me, but definitely on a level comparable to Payton.
