Can we admit that Dansby just can't catch up to 97mph anymore?

You may be right. Here is his batting line against power pitchers this year:

.146 .188 .260 .449

I have to remind myself that as hard as these guys are to watch today, that used to happen like 30 times a season a couple years ago (not literally a shutout, but just terrible team approach for the whole game). I think we've had like 5 such games this whole year

Shaw needs to go back to Iowa again.  It's not enough to play defense.  There is no solid contact at all.

I would agree but then they’re back to Berti and Brujan. Would much rather watch a guy with potential than career bench players

Just frustrating because we have a road series coming up against the Yankees full of terrible matchups. Meanwhile the Brewers are beating the Dodgers and get a home series against the Nationals this weekend

Nobody here is mentally fit to handle a Bruján/Berti third base platoon.

Reese McGuire used to play 3B. Any chance whatsoever he has been talking grounders in the event Amaya is ready to come back?

Not ripping on you at all but how the horsefeathers are we in a position where this has to be a suggestion

Oh, it's a completely unrealistic and unreasonable suggestion, that also somehow may be their best option.

I'd take my chances with Long to start the second half with at 3B until Hoyer able to find an everyday guy via trade.

I said a couple weeks ago that Hoyer needed to go get a 3Bmen and for Shaw to go down until at least September and just work with the Iowa coaches.

Shota wasn’t his best and still gave a quality start.

“Wasn’t his best” is a very kind way to say it.

I want Suarez but I know there will be a bidding war with Cubs and Yankees to get him. I would love Austin Riley but there's no way Atlanta is getting rid of him. Heck, Braves still believe they're buyers.

When theres other guys in lineup struggling for awhile, sometimes you can't afford to carry the rookie that hasn't figured it out yet when your fighting to win games to stay on top.
