Yeah, it's bizarre.....not the kid's fault. Jed had no idea the kid would blow up and well, here we are. If we can sign Tucker it will ease a lot of the angst obviously.

I think the Cubs need to design special Houston Astros colored glasses for Kyle Tucker that he will wear for the rest of the year. That way he sees Astros everywhere he goes and goes 4-5 every night.

One thing I love about this Cubs offense is that it can explode at any given time.  It's just frustrating when it doesn't do it more often.

Correct me if im wrong but wasn't Cam Smith going to be starting the season in AA with the Cubs had it not been for the trade ?

I have some doubt that Hoyer had him scheduled for a fast track to majors for this season in December after only 20 PA in AA.

Really glad they got this win in.  Realistically 7 games on the road against quality teams and you should be okay with 3-4, so they've locked that in.  And with two uncompetitive games followed by an off day Monday, I think Craig can lean on the bullpen a little extra tomorrow and try to steal a win against Valdez.
