If I’m giving up Cassie, I want a guy with more time available. Either a Seattle pitcher (Woo or Miller) or someone like Cristopher Sanchez. .

If Paredes played every single game in Houston last year, he would have hit 26 home runs.

Tucker hit 23 in 78 games.

My off season moves from here would be:

Bellinger to the Yankees

Assad/Cassie for Pable Lopez. If you need to add to it, do so. 

Sign Kelly

Sign Moncada

sign Minter.

If the Cubs trade Cassie I don’t want a rental. Would love Woo or Miller But j think Seattle wants major league talent. If not Lopez, someone with 3 or more years of control left that might start to get expensive. Maybe Mitch Keller? But I want someone better than him.

They could still trade Hoerner if they slide Busch to 2B and make Bellinger full time 1B. 
 

if they can somehow add prospects to get one of the mariners young starters id do it. They seem reluctant on moving them but i bet theyd do it for the right deal

Bruce Levine is on Cubs 360 saying the Cubs are working on a big deal now to bring in a starting pitcher. Then he just added as they were talking about trading minor leaguers that another one or two of their young players will be traded for a starter in the next day or so.
