The Lions had 262 yards in returns on kicks and punts yesterday. They averaged 72 yards on kick return and 38 yards on punt returns. Goff never needed to throw a pass in that game.

Delay of game on the defense to give GB a new set of downs. I swear to god refs come up with anything to bail them out.

And yet it was the absolute correct call/  Three linemen moving simultaneously prior to the snap is a penalty. Broadcast brought in the "rules guru" who said it was the correct call and should've been called.

Blame the Jags, not the refs.

Granted, should have been called, do you believe the multiple blatant holds and a block in the back should have been called at the end of Bears-Commanders?  Don't get me wrong, the Commanders success on that play was more the Bears doing than the Commanders but, still, should one of the multiple fouls been called?

By rule it's a penalty, it's just not something that ever actually gets called.

You can marginalize it however you want.  But the entire left side of the DLine all moved at once and the flag was immediately thrown.  It's not like it was some ticky-tack judgment call.  Plainly obvious to the "rules" guy who said it was clearly the correct call.

An argument can be made that there are penalties on every play which don't get called, especially "Hail Mary's".

My response to Tryp was more that it was not a judgment call and/or ticky-tack penalty that could've NOT been called.  It was a pre-snap penalty. The entire left side of the DLine moved in unison.  I wasn't aware of the rule, but the rules official was emphatic that it was the correct call.
