I throw that out there simply because it is a fantastic movie and has some relevance to the discussion. Certainly a component of the game includes first hand observation, but, personally, I would give more deference to statistical analysis on most occassions.

Man, no wonder Cincy hits so many dingers. I've played in HS ball fields that played deeper. That first home run was a freakin fly ball out! I couldn't believe it carried so far. And LF is a joke too! Seriously, Coors Field has nothing on that place. I'd like to see how good Dunn does in a normal ballpark, or even say SD's new stadium. He'd hit .178. Hopefully he'll get traded out of the Central cuz he keeps hitting HRs off Kerry.

 

That second one was very well struck. Only one error so far...must have had a lot of home games. :wink:

as i've said, dunn sucks, he strikes out too much and doesn't sac bunt enough. he also doesn't do enough in the clubhouse to be all that valuable. i'm not sold on dunn yet, he sucks, he strikes out too much.
