I still can’t believe Kmet got as few of snaps as he got last game. Waldron took responsibility for that, but I just don’t see how that can happen. With Keenan probably out, Kmet better see some throws his way.

"Team x got late round value from a RB" shouldn't logically preclude drafting a RB higher.  Having valuable run game was still ultimately really beneficial to those teams.  It's hard to find good value at most spots of draft.  So if you can get a valuable RB early... That can be a good thing!

Crazy that Sam Darnold is about to have the Vikings 2-0 after a win over the 49ers today. The Packers are about to win and had a semi-functional offense with Malik Willis at QB, who has been on the team for like 3 weeks.  Feels like offensive coaching matters

That's certainly one takeaway. Another might be that the two teams have allowed 11.0 points per game in those three games, two of which are against terrible teams, and it's probably not sustainable.

Nope mine is the correct one.  You put Malik Willis on a crappy team and give him 3 weeks to learn the playbook and he's not putting up a 126 QB rating and leading an offense to 16 points.  Darnold was on his way out of the league and he's putting up 72% completion percentage and 9.5 YPA so far.

Obviously early in the season and the sample size is small so feel free to challenge me in a couple of weeks if he comes back down to earth but I think good offensive coaching matters that much.  I don't think Jordan Love is honestly that great, but MLF has turned him into an extremely effective QB.

I think when you unironically type the phrase 'leading an offense to 16 points," it might be time to circle back a bit.

Nah I don’t think so when Malik Willis involved.

We all know Willis and Darnold suck and they will show why soon enough.

Jacobs cartoonishly fumbled on the goaline, or its 23 points.  Focusing on points is just avoiding the argument made.

I think I'm addressing both arguments head on: the post is Tebowing bad qb performances because they won

Tebow was putting up 126 QBRs?! (Fields is 108 thus far)

You're simply not being objective.

The Packers rushed 53 times and threw 14 times. That’s almost unheard of in the modern NFL. I don’t think you need to give any outlandish props to the QB in such a performance.

Where did I give any props to the QBs?  My post was about the value of good offensive coaching. LaFleur is an elite offensive coach and is able to run a semi-functional offense that gained 383 yards with Malik Willis at QB.
