If Hendricks isn’t dealt during the deadline does he get a farewell/standing ovation towards the end of the season? I can’t see the Cubs signing him in the offseason, not even for cheap.

For anyone keeping track (just me), Kyle Hendricks is now in sole possession of the 7 spot on the Cubs all-time strikeout list.  78 strikeouts behind Maddux for 6th.
