Ticket Successes and Failures Thread

I was told that there is an update "box" on the cubs.com site, showing the range of the latest wristbands being "served" at Wrigley, but I cannot find that sucker. Can anyone help me with this?

 

Also, people have to wait outside the park this year 'til their number is called. Hopefully, this is just because of all the teardown and rebuild that is going on. They've got an awful lot of work to finish in a little over a month!

I see the listing. Six hours and they've only processed 2,000 wristbands. I guess my 10,000 will have to wait awhile. I'm surprised that only six games are sold out so far.

I had three computers up for the VWR, and I got nothing. My boss at work got in at about 11 and said it was pretty hard to find any tickets. (I think he ended up with 2 seats against the Brewers. He was trying to buy 6 for pretty much any weekend game. Mostly just single seats left. They don't post that on the VWR though.

FWIW -- I've started having some success, but only after shutting all my browser windows and starting them up again. After restarting, I got in twice in about 15-20 mins, then sat around in VWR hell again, after another half hour I restarted browsers again and got in 2 more times.....

Amen Gooney...two years and counting. And some people have gotten through multiple times. I even read some people are selling the tickets, that just kills me since i can't even get through!!!!

Well, I am done. I am going to go to the gym now, screw this. I will leave a few windows open, and maybe they will still be there when I get back, but I doubt it.

 

I guess I will have to go get the tickets on game day. What a complete waste, 5 hours of my life. I hate the Cubs right now.

3 hours with a half dozen windows open.

I got through once, and IE strikes again with javascript errors causing me to not get tickets. My brother-in-law called me up though to tell me he got 4 for the White Sox, 2 for the Cardinals and 4 for the Astros.

 

Those combined with the 2 for the Sandberg game earlier, and I'm pretty happy.
