    It's funny that you posted this tonight. Throughout the early part of the season I would take my bracelet off for various reasons, shower, work, etc. Sometimes I would forget about it but then the Cubs would win a couple and I would think about it. Almost without fail it seemed everytime I consciously sought it out and put it on the Cubs would suck it up that day and lose badly. Finally I said screw it. I'm not going to wear it anymore. That was one week ago today. They went on a tear and won 6 straight. I really wanted to wear my bracelet but I feared jinxing them. After Lee's 5-5 performance I was inspired to wear it once again. If the hottest hitter in the league can wear one without placing a jinx then I could too. Today was the first day I have worn it and they won. From here on out I will wear it everyday. Unless of course they drop the next 3 in a row. :wink:

    Considering that Lee is a superior defender, has stolen almost as many bases this season as Pujols has in his entire career and is currently besting him at the plate I'd say he's earned the honor of being the starting first baseman rather than DH.

He's probably the only chance at getting Dusty out of that Cub's uniform. :twisted: Are you kidding me? God hates the Cubs.

    I just got 2 tix for the UD on Aug. 28th. If anyone has three extra tix for either Bosox game on Sat or Sun please PM me. Maybe we can work something out.

    I know this is a shot in the dark but I'm going to throw it out there. If anyone has four extra tix to Sat or Sun game vs. the BoSox I would gladly buy them from you. It's my sister in-laws 21st birthday and she loves the Cubs. This would be the best present we could give her. If anyone could help me out please pm me.
