So I've more or less been following Carolina all season to keep tabs on our pick and because of Bryce young curiosity.

If our defense can't have a good game against them, fire the whole unit into the sun. It's so bad.

Young has all the traditional rookie QB flaws. He's foolable and gets rattled by pressure. Their offensive line is just as bad as ours has ever been, and their receivers are so slow even our dbs can handle them.

If we lose this game it will be because of Bagentball

Hoping we go Herbert heavy and he lights them up. I'm pretty nervous about this game, not gonna lie.

The Bears can't rush the passer. And Young's best game this year came in the only game he was sacked less than 4 times since the opener. Carolina still lost that game 41-24 to Detroit, but Young had 247 yards passing, 3 TDs and that's their season high in points. The Bears aren't going to put up 41 like Detroit, but if Carolina puts up 24, they probably win.

The Bears defense also works into Young's strengths as he likes to dink and dunk and the Bears like to play bend, don't break and tackle everything in front of them. And it's been 2 games since the Chargers game so they're due to forget how to tackle again tonight.

Dont think I've ever had less excitement for a Bears primetime game. Regardless of the result, the Bears draft picks are going to get worse, they are already so far out of contention for this game to essentially be meaningless, the backup QB is starting so can't hold out hope for a good Fields performance, and the team we are playing is shittier and more hopeless than we are.

Well, if we win, our pick gets worse, but the Panthers pick won't. It's critical to win this game.

Which is really making me want to take the panthers money line

Right, I just mean that no matter what happens tonight our draft pick situation will be worse, whether its the Bears own pick getting worse or the Panthers pick.  Makes me less excited because we can't even "root" for tanking

Bears haven't won a must-win game since, what, the 2010 Divisional Playoff?

In terms of salvaging a lost season, New England last year and Washington this year.

Can Flose manage that thrice in 2 years?

No, if bears win that’s one more winnable game in the loss column for Carolina. We want Carolina losing

I mean, its honorable to think about what might improve the Bear's draft picks, or want to simply root for da Bears, but the reality is no matter what pick(s) they get, they are unorganized, unprepared, uncompetent (gotta stick with the uns here) and unfocused to the point that they will horsefeathers up the pick(s) or the fine young ma(e)n they draft

so wtg hairy, doomsville has always been with us. it just took me this long to accept it

Yes I understand there is a preferred outcome. But if the Bears win their pick will get worse. If the Panthers win their pick will get worse. Most weeks you can hope for/expecy them both to lose but this week that’s impossible.

Just can’t wait to see how we’ve turned the corner, Flub

I prefer Flush as a hint to what to do with him at the end of the season, but his name is flexible in describing his tenure.

I don’t have to watch this, but I have to watch it.

If this was Sunday afternoon, I wouldn't be watching.
