Pat Bev is a dick? Who could have guessed!

In fairness when the sentence started out with "Pat Bev tells female reporter she can't interview him..." that's about as good of an outcome for the rest of the sentence as it can be.

Chucking a ball at fans seems bad though

Pacers sure blew that thing in the last minute of regulation. Haliburton losing his dribble and then forcing the ball inbounds leading to a turnover and the game tying three when they could have called timeout.

I don’t understand why, when a team challenges who the ball was off of, the NBA is okay with making the referees only look at who the ball touched last while ignoring the other parts of a play.

40 seconds left today, Kyrie fouls a Wolves player and the refs don’t call it. Ball goes off the Wolves player last. Mavs challenge and win and get the ball. It would be so easy to change that rule and yet they don’t.

Not really NBA but WNBA related. I feel bad for Catlin Clark. She's getting the Jordan treatment when he broke into the league. Now all the right-wingers are making it about race. And of course the Black commentators are trying to say something different, which makes it more about race. I'm sure she didn't sign up for this. I hope she's getting mental health support. The issue is much bigger than her but now she's in it.

My only issue is that her teammates don’t seem to be standing up for her. And let’s not act like she’s a saint either.

Saint or sinner, she is bringing people to the arenas at a level that games have to be moved to bigger venues.. That's a good thing for their sport and their own future pocketbooks. Fair or not, she was doing things in college basketball that drew a lot of interest and she can be a gateway for bringing WNBA and all of its benefactors to a more financial windfall. More tv time. More advertising dollars. More endorsements as more ladies start getting more well known. But, getting well known has to be for the good reasons.

Flagrant fouls that injure Caitlin and make her miss games is not good for the league. It's fine to give her some rookie lumps or "welcome to the league", but the jealousy or hatred that it's her and not "you" is not a good look. The flagrant foul wasn't a good look, but Angel Reese high fiving her teammates from the bench after that flagrant foul and then hugging the player that did it right after she did it is bad for business.

But yeah, her teammates need to have her back.
